Parents:
The Cape Coral Soccer Association Board of Directors, under which the Island Coast Soccer Alliance operates, met recently and the decision has been made to return to the Cyclones as the competitive program being offered and run by CCSA for the 2010 fall season. The CCSA board members are determined to lower the costs to you while providing a better overall soccer experience for your child. We have added new members to the board that will bring fresh ideas and enable the club to offer more to the players and families. With the dismissal of high priced staff members and by making use of more people to do the variety of duties needed to make the program successful, we will meet those goals.
We will have further announcements soon as to what changes are being made. We are discussing all aspects of the competitive program and coming up with a plan that will best benefit the kids. We understand competitive youth soccer is like any business, and that we must do what we can to keep our customers happy. The only way we can make it better for you is if we hear what it is that you truly want. If you have suggestions about something that could make this a better experience for your child next year, or if you wish to voice concerns about the current season, please contact Tim Swisher at sc@capecoralsoccer.com and we will take all ideas into account as we move forward. The ICSA U16 Boys team are the South Florida United Soccer League Division 1 champions, finishing with a league record of 7-1-1. The team is coached by Aldo Nardiello, with assistant coaches Richard Barnhouse and Bob Agostinelli.

Congratulations to the U15 Boys on their success this season. The team finished the regular season in the South Florida United league with a record of 6-2-1 and finished in second place. They also finished as runner-up in the Premier Division at the West Pines Invitational tournament. The team finished with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, beating Westin, Real Madrid, and Miami Springs before losing in the finals. The team is coached by Marco Antunez and Gabe Luchetta
Congratulations to the U10 Girls ICSA Sting team, who recently won the Gold Division Championship in the Plantation Thanksgiving Classic. Scores from the weekend were: 6-1 win vs. Weston Fury 2-1 win vs. Miramar Blue 1-1 tie vs. Parkland 3-0 win vs. Parkland in semifinals 2-1 win vs. Wellington in championship game *Wellington team was undefeated in the last 2 seasons ! With their success this weekend they have moved to the #2 ranked team in the state, #8 in the South region, and #20 in the nation! Great job girls! The team is coached by Pat Flaharty and Alex Martinez
Congratulations to the U18 Boys who recently won the Clearwater Thanksgiving Challenge. The Wanderers went undefeated in 4 games to take the championship. Scores were: 5-1 win vs. First Coast Soccer 7-2 win vs. Clearwater Chargers 2-1 win vs. Manasota Youth Finals 4-3 win vs. Manasota Youth The team is coached Brian Roberts, and assistant coaches David Hudgins and Robert Theriault
